What This Site Uses
BallisticEngine uses essential browser storage only. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics, and your browsing is not monitored or profiled. Our calculation API does keep short-lived server request logs — see the Privacy Policy.
Storage We Use

These are not cookies in the technical sense — they are localStorage entries that never leave your browser and are never sent to any server. They exist solely to remember your preferences between visits.
Third-Party Services
Supabase — Our ammunition and weapons database is hosted on Supabase (supabase.co). When the calculator loads, it fetches product data from their API. Supabase may set its own cookies for infrastructure purposes. See their privacy policy.
Fonts — Typefaces are served from this site, not from Google Fonts. Nothing is requested from Google when you load a page.
jsDelivr — The calculator loads the Supabase client library from the jsDelivr CDN, which receives your IP as part of that request. See their privacy policy.
Cloudflare — This site is served via Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may set a __cf_bm cookie for bot protection. See their privacy policy.
What We Do Not Do
We do not run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising network. We do not sell or share your personal data, and we do not fingerprint your browser. Penetration calculations are performed by our own API rather than in your browser, so the shot parameters you enter are sent there; they are not stored in a database, not linked to you, and not used for anything but returning the result. See the Privacy Policy for what request logs contain.
Your Rights
Under GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and similar regulations, you have the right to know what data is stored and to delete it. Since we only use localStorage, you can clear it anytime via your browser settings (Settings → Clear browsing data → Cookies and site data). This will reset your theme, tooltip, and unit preferences to defaults.
