Vital Zone Target — Wild Boar

A boar is not a small deer. The zone is no bigger, but it is carried lower and tighter behind the shoulder, behind a heavy shield of gristle — which is why a deer hold passes over the top of it.

How to use it

1. Print at 100% and check the 100 mm bar before using any dimension.
2. Note where the zone sits against the outline. Lower and further forward than the deer sheet, and that difference is the point of having a separate one.
3. The shoulder shield is why bullet construction matters here more than on thin-skinned game — run your load through the penetration calculator before the season, not after.
4. Practise the hold at the range you actually shoot at.
