Uses the true angular minute — 1/60 of a degree — not the “1 inch at 100 yards” approximation, which is 4.7% off: a real MOA subtends 1.047 in at 100 yd, and that error compounds to more than 3 in across a 20 MOA correction at 300 yd. MIL here is the milliradian, the unit a scope turret means by MIL, not the NATO artillery mil of 2π/6400. The grids on our printed targets are calibrated the same way, so a click on this page and a square on that paper agree.
